本プライバシーポリシーは、東京大学大学院医学系研究科 健康行動情報・治療学分野 脇 DTx 研究室（以下「当研究室」といいます）が 提供するモバイルアプリケーション「FiberMore2+」 （以下「本アプリ」といいます）における、利用者に関する情報の 取得、利用、保存、第三者への提供その他の取扱いについて説明するものです。
本アプリは、食事記録、栄養情報の推定、健康行動支援、 目標設定、振り返り、AIとの対話、音声入力、文章の読み上げ、 健康情報の記録および研究・評価に関係する機能を提供します。
本アプリの利用が特定の研究計画の一部である場合は、本ポリシーに加えて、 当該研究の説明文書、同意文書、研究計画、倫理審査上の条件その他の 適用される文書も利用者の情報の取扱いに適用されます。
本アプリは、利用者の個人データを第三者AIサービスへ送信する前に、 アプリ内で、送信される情報、送信先および利用目的を表示し、 利用者から明示的な同意を取得します。
利用者が「同意してAI機能を利用する」を選択するまで、 本アプリから本ポリシー第7項に記載する第三者AIサービスへ 利用者の個人データを送信しません。
同意しない場合、ダッシュボード、昨日の評価・振り返り、 食事写真解析、栄養情報の推定、AI対話、音声入力および 読み上げ機能を利用することはできません。 同意するまで、アプリ内の同意確認画面が表示されます。
同意を行った日時、同意文面のバージョン、表示言語、 同意対象となったAIサービス提供者およびデータ区分は、 同意の記録として本アプリのバックエンドに保存されます。
送信するデータの種類、送信先、利用目的または本ポリシーの重要な内容を 変更した場合は、必要に応じて改めて同意を求めます。
本アプリは、利用する機能および参加する研究・プログラムに応じて、 以下の情報を収集することがあります。

本アプリは、正確なGPS位置情報を意図的に収集しません。
当研究室は、次の方法で情報を収集します。
カメラ、写真ライブラリ、マイク、Apple Health、Health Connect、 通知その他の端末機能へのアクセスが必要な場合は、 OSが提供する許可画面を通じて、利用者の許可を取得します。
当研究室は、収集した情報を次の目的で利用します。
当研究室は、利用者の個人データを販売しません。 また、本アプリは、第三者広告、データブローカーへの提供または 複数の企業が提供するアプリやWebサイトを横断した 広告目的のトラッキングのために利用者の情報を使用しません。
Apple HealthまたはHealth Connectから取得した健康情報を、 広告、マーケティング、信用判断、データ販売その他、 本ポリシーに記載していない目的で利用しません。
当研究室は、氏名、メールアドレス、電話番号等の利用者を 直接識別する情報を、第三者AIサービスへ意図的に送信しません。
ただし、利用者が食事写真、音声、自由入力欄またはAIへのメッセージに 氏名、連絡先、顔、住所、医療情報その他の個人情報を含めた場合は、 その内容が第三者AIサービスへ送信される可能性があります。 利用者は、AI機能へ送信する写真、音声および文章に、 処理に必要のない個人情報を含めないようご注意ください。
本アプリは、利用する機能およびシステム設定に応じて、 以下のうち一社または複数社のAIサービスを利用します。

当研究室は、適用される契約、データ処理条件、守秘義務、 セキュリティ条件、アクセス制限、暗号化、インシデント対応および 再委託先の管理等を通じて、第三者AIサービスにおける 利用者データの保護を確認します。
本アプリの提供、データ保存、通知、セキュリティ、 障害解析および研究・管理業務のため、以下のサービスを 利用する場合があります。

当研究室は、本ポリシーに記載したすべての第三者および委託先が、 本ポリシーに記載した水準ならびにApple App Review Guidelinesで 求められる水準と同一または同等の水準で、 利用者データを保護することを確認しています。
各委託先は、当研究室との契約、適用されるデータ処理条件および 守秘義務に従い、サービス提供に必要な範囲で情報を取り扱います。 委託先が当研究室の指示と無関係な目的で利用者データを 使用することを認めるものではありません。
本アプリで取り扱う情報は、日本国内のほか、 米国その他の国または地域に所在するサーバーで 保存または処理される場合があります。
当研究室は、国外で情報が処理される場合も、 適用される法令、契約上の保護措置、データ処理条件、 アクセス制限およびセキュリティ措置を通じて、 本ポリシーに記載した水準と同一または同等の保護が 維持されることを確認します。
当研究室は、次の目的を達成するために必要な期間に限り、 利用者の情報を保存します。
保存期間は、情報の種類、研究計画、説明・同意文書、 倫理審査上の条件、法令および大学の規程によって異なる場合があります。 保存の必要がなくなった情報は、適用される要件に従って 削除または適切に匿名化します。
アプリをアンインストールすると、その端末からの新たな情報収集は 原則として停止しますが、すでに当研究室または委託先のサーバーへ 送信・保存された情報は、自動的には削除されません。
第三者AIサービスに送信された情報は、各社の法人向けAPIに 適用される契約、セキュリティ、不正利用防止および データ保持設定に従って、一時的に保持される場合があります。
利用者は、同意後も、ダッシュボードに表示される プライバシー保護を示す盾のアイコンから 「AIデータ送信への同意を撤回する」を選択することにより、 第三者AIサービスへのデータ送信に関する同意を撤回できます。
同意を撤回すると、撤回後の第三者AIサービスへの新たなデータ送信を停止し、 本アプリは同意確認画面へ戻ります。 再び同意するまで、ダッシュボード、評価・振り返り、 食事解析、AI対話、音声入力および読み上げ機能を利用できません。
同意の撤回は、撤回前に適法な同意に基づいて行われた処理の 適法性には影響しません。また、撤回前に送信された情報の削除には、 別途削除依頼が必要となる場合があります。
利用者は、適用される法令および研究上の条件に従い、 自身の情報について、開示、確認、訂正、利用停止、 同意撤回または削除を依頼できます。
依頼する場合は、本ポリシー末尾の連絡先へご連絡ください。 当研究室は、本人確認を行ったうえで、合理的な期間内に対応します。
法令、研究の完全性、倫理審査、適用される研究計画、 大学の規程または正当な記録保存義務により削除できない情報がある場合は、 その理由および可能な対応について説明します。
当研究室は、本ポリシーに記載した委託先への提供のほか、 次の場合に限り、必要な範囲で情報を開示することがあります。
当研究室および委託先は、利用者の情報を、不正アクセス、 紛失、漏えい、改ざん、不正利用または不正な開示から保護するため、 情報の性質およびリスクに応じた合理的な組織的、 人的、物理的および技術的安全管理措置を実施します。
これらの措置には、必要に応じて次のものが含まれます。
ただし、インターネット通信または電子的な保存方法について、 完全な安全性を保証することはできません。
本アプリは、13歳未満の児童を対象としていません。 当研究室は、適切な同意または権限なく、 13歳未満の児童から個人情報を意図的に収集しません。
13歳未満の児童の情報が適切な権限なく提供されたことが判明した場合、 当研究室は、適用される法令および研究上の要件に従って 当該情報を削除するための合理的な措置を講じます。
当研究室は、本アプリの機能、研究内容、委託先、法令または Apple App Review Guidelines等の変更に対応するため、 本ポリシーを変更することがあります。
重要な変更がある場合は、本アプリまたは本ページを通じて通知し、 第三者AIへ送信するデータ、送信先または利用目的が変更されるなど、 新たな同意が必要な場合は、変更後のデータ送信前に アプリ内で改めて同意を取得します。

This Privacy Policy explains how the Department of Health Behavior Informatics and Therapeutics, Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo, Waki DTx Laboratory (“Service Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, discloses, and otherwise processes information relating to users of the FiberMore2+ mobile application (“Application”).
The Application provides meal recording, nutrition estimation, health-behavior support, goal setting, assessments, AI-assisted conversations, speech input, text-to-speech, health-record management, and related research and evaluation functions.
Where the Application is used as part of a specific research study, the applicable study materials, informed-consent documents, research protocol, ethics-review conditions, and other applicable requirements also govern the processing of participant information.
Before transmitting a user’s personal data to a third-party AI service, the Application displays an in-app notice identifying the information to be transmitted, each recipient, and each purpose, and obtains the user’s explicit permission.
The Application does not transmit the personal data described in Section 7 to the listed third-party AI services until the user selects “Agree and Use AI Features.”
If the user does not consent, the user cannot access the dashboard, daily or weekly assessments, meal-image analysis, nutrition estimation, AI conversation, speech input, or text-to-speech features. The consent screen remains displayed until consent is given.
The Application records the date and time of consent, the version of the consent notice, the display language, the AI providers covered by the consent, and the disclosed data categories in the Application’s backend.
If the categories of transmitted data, recipients, purposes, or other material terms change, the Application will request renewed consent where required before performing the changed processing.

The Application does not intentionally collect precise GPS location.
Where access to the camera, photo library, microphone, Apple Health, Health Connect, notifications, or another protected device feature is required, the Application requests permission through the applicable operating-system permission interface.
We use the information described above to:
We do not sell users’ personal data. The Application does not use personal data for third-party advertising, data brokerage, or advertising-related tracking across applications or websites owned by different companies.
Information obtained from Apple Health or Health Connect is not used for advertising, marketing, credit decisions, data sales, or any unrelated purpose.
We do not intentionally transmit direct identifiers such as a user’s name, email address, or telephone number to the third-party AI services.
However, direct identifiers, faces, addresses, medical information, or other personal information may be transmitted if the user includes them in a photograph, audio recording, free-text field, or message. Users should avoid including personal information that is not necessary for the requested processing.

Depending on the feature and system configuration, information may be transmitted to one or more of these providers. The Application does not transmit every category of information to every provider. Only the information reasonably necessary for the requested processing is sent.
The Service Provider confirms that OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Microsoft each afford transmitted user data the same or equivalent protection as stated in this Privacy Policy and as required by Apple App Review Guidelines 5.1.1(i) and 5.1.2(i).
We confirm this protection through applicable agreements, data-processing terms, confidentiality obligations, security requirements, access controls, encryption, incident-response measures, and subprocessor-management requirements.

The Service Provider confirms that every third party and processor identified in this Privacy Policy provides the same or equivalent protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy and as required by the Apple App Review Guidelines.
These providers process information only as necessary to provide the contracted services and subject to applicable agreements, data-processing terms, confidentiality obligations, and security requirements.
Information may be stored or processed in Japan, the United States, or another country or region in which a service provider operates.
Where information is processed outside Japan, we use applicable contractual protections, data-processing terms, access controls, and security measures to confirm that the same or equivalent level of protection described in this Privacy Policy is maintained.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
Retention periods may differ according to the data category, applicable protocol, consent document, ethics-review conditions, law, and university policy. When information is no longer required, it is deleted or appropriately anonymized in accordance with applicable requirements.
Uninstalling the Application generally stops new collection from that installed copy, but does not automatically delete information already transmitted to or stored by the Service Provider or its processors.
Information transmitted to third-party AI services may be retained temporarily under the security, abuse-prevention, legal-compliance, and retention provisions applicable to the relevant commercial API.
After consenting, a user may withdraw consent to third-party AI data sharing at any time by selecting the privacy-shield icon on the dashboard and choosing “Withdraw AI Data Consent.”
Withdrawal stops new transmissions to the third-party AI services after withdrawal and returns the user to the consent screen. The dashboard, assessments, meal analysis, AI conversation, speech input, and text-to-speech features remain unavailable until the user consents again.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing performed before withdrawal. A separate deletion request may be necessary for information transmitted before consent was withdrawn.
Subject to applicable law and research requirements, users may request access to, confirmation of, correction of, restriction of, withdrawal of consent for, or deletion of their information.
Requests may be submitted using the contact information below. We may verify the requester’s identity before responding.
Where information cannot be deleted because of law, research-integrity requirements, ethics-review conditions, an applicable protocol, university policy, or another legitimate retention requirement, we will explain the applicable reason and available options.
In addition to the processors identified above, information may be disclosed only where:
The Service Provider and its processors implement reasonable administrative, organizational, physical, and technical measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The Application is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate consent or authorization.
If we learn that information from a child under 13 has been submitted without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it in accordance with applicable law and research requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Application, research activities, processors, applicable law, or the Apple App Review Guidelines.
Material changes will be communicated through the Application or this page. Where a change to transmitted data, recipients, or purposes requires renewed consent, the Application will obtain that consent before performing the changed processing.
